Infineon Technologies Selects VirtualLogix VLX Software For New Smartphone Software Architectures
VLX Real-Time Virtualization Software Helps Enable Flexible Software Architectures For Infineon Mobile Handset Reference Platform Designs
SANTA CLARA, CA, Feb. 16, 2010 – VirtualLogix®, Inc., a leading provider of Real-Time Virtualization™ technology for mobile handsets, today announced an agreement with Infineon Technologies AG, one of the world’s leading suppliers of semiconductor and system solutions, to supply the company’s VLX™ virtualization software for use in multi-media chipset platforms from Infineon for mobile handsets. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Teams from Infineon and VirtualLogix have collaborated to successfully integrate and test VLX software with an Infineon mobile handset reference platform.
